Joint Workshops
Sharif Professors may organize joint workshops along with Russian professors of the same expertise and use the allocated budget of our university for cooperation with Russian universities. This budget could be used to reimburse the travel and accommodation expenses of Russian professors who are giving lectures in such workshops in Sharif.

1st SUT-SPbU Joint Seminar on Iranian culture, philosophy and history of science
Joint workshops in Genomics in Russia and Iran
Professor Khalaj from Electrical Engineering Department and Dr. Sharifi and Dr. Motahari from Computer Engineering Department are in contact with Professor O'Brien and Professor Brukhin from St Petersburg State University for holding joint workshops in Genomics in Russia and Iran. As the first step, Professor Khalaj and Dr. Sharifi took part in Genome Russia conference on Oct 4-5, 2018, and presented their research results. They visited the corresponding laboratory of St Petersburg State University on Oct 6, 2018.
